This time we report of new trends spotted at the food & beverage fair Anuga in Cologne. Organic went from niche to mainstream. Highly striking was the topic protein – we have seen everything from high-protein ice cream over protein sausages till plant-based protein drinks. Also the trend snacking is growing, with indulgence and exciting taste combinations or healthy convenience in the focus. As far as drinks are concerned, here everything was dedicated to health consciousness.
